About the Author
Janet Coles has had a wealth of experience teaching 'cellists of all ages from 4 to 84. As a performer she has played concertos in Europe and the UK and has given many chamber music recitals in venues ranging from concert halls to paddle steamers. Janet is currently freelancing and teaches 'cello and chamber music at Trinity College Junior Department and in Somerset.

Great little book for learning cello from scratch

Great little book for learning cello from scratch. I am an adult trying to learn cello from home and am using this as my primary resource for learning to play and site read for cello. CD accompaniments are fun and the DVDS is helpful. I imagine it would be good for a class environment as well.
